Dr. Hector Morales-Negrón
A dynamic and innovative applied performance psychology consultant and coach. Arriving in the U.S. as a non-English-speaking private, he rose through the ranks to retire as a Lieutenant Colonel and Academy Professor at West Point—and draws on over 30 years of leadership, teaching, and athlete development.

From private to professor.
Leadership and Military Service
As an Army officer, Dr. Morales-Negrón led at every level, from platoons and companies to battalion and division-level staff, supporting multiple peacekeeping and operational missions. At West Point he directed over ten physical education courses and served as Director of Combatives Certification and Director of Personal Fitness.
Coaching Success: Judo and Combatives
As head coach of the West Point Judo program, he led the team to its first National Collegiate Judo Championship in 50 years. He also coached the U.S. Armed Forces team to six World Military Championships and certified thousands of cadets and soldiers as Army combatives instructors.
Mental Performance Consulting and Baseball
Certified through OnBase University in pitching and hitting fundamentals, he supports instructional, travel, and collegiate baseball programs. As Director of Mental Performance and International Development for the Pittsburgh Pirates, he oversees the development of international professional players and coaches athletes at all levels of the organization.
Personal Life and PMG
Dr. Morales-Negrón lives in Parrish, FL, with his wife and three children. He is the Founder and Director of Performance for Peak Mental Game (PMG): Optimal Performance Education, LLC, offering tailored mental training programs designed to elevate performance and foster personal growth.
